I’m tired of not making something more out of my life. I hate that every single day, I question my artistic abilities and whether advertising is what I really want to pursue. For the past several months, I’ve been pretty set on pursuing advertising, researching schools and deciding that Art Center was definitely my future. But for the last few days, I’ve been seriously considering something more practical—pharmacy, pediatrics perhaps? They’re what I had my heart set on in my earlier high school years, but I gave up on them when I realized how much hard work I had to put in and how disinterested I was in science. I’m just a lazy fuck, and I want to change that.

I don’t blog much, unless I find fun pictures. So today, I woke up, got ready, ran a little late trying to find parking at VC. I was in a rush because I didn’t want to be late for the debate, but I was just in time. The debate was just as heated as it was on Monday kinda? No it wasn’t actually. But anyway, I love my class. The week before, in preparation for the debate, some of us were bumping heads on some dumb shit. People were getting irritated because Kathleen, an Australian-born?, was the only one who really stepped up to become our captain. She was trying to organize us, but she was just a tad bit too organized.

I didn’t exactly agree with everything she was doing, but I totally respect her for being able to step up and wishing us nothing but the best. Throughout her reign as captain, I did not see an ounce of self-interest and she did as much research she could so she could give points to those who were too lazy to find them, me included. During the two days of our debate, I noticed a difference between our captain and theirs. Ours was well-mannered and eloquent—a classy ass broad, and theirs was some rude horse-faced bitch. Everyone on the other side was just so defensive and couldn’t get off their high horses. They pulled the pity card by having one of their peers summarize her experience with a brain tumor—our topic was Universal Health Care and we were affirmative btw. Anyway, she had health insurance and the whole time I just wanted to ask them if anyone who didn’t have health insurance had such a similar success story. This is getting too long. Long story short, OUR SIDE WON BITCHESS! WHAAAT?

So after, hung out with Rolie at Pac View and ate Charley’s. I smelled like onions the rest of the day. Anyway, we headed back to the library at VC and I studied for the Vocab Quiz for my 2D Color and Design class. I didn’t wanna stay in class so I left after the Vocab Quiz, I think I did quite dandy.

I went to Borders to get a magazine for some art project and got some job apps. I went home, changed into shorts, and changed my shoes, went to Mandalay and ran two and a half laps around the park. I saw someone with one of those bike shits and I remembered Jacky telling me she was working that day, so I decided to pay a visit. This is how one of our conversations went:

John: Dude, I’m so addicted to Bejeweled now, you should play!

Jacky: I’m scared, I don’t wanna get addicted. I used to be addicted to Chain Rain.

John: What the fuck is Chain Rain?

Jacky: You know that game where you click on something and it makes like rain drop sounds?

John: Oh you mean Chain Rxn?

Jacky: Yeah, Chain Rain.

John: Rxn=Reaction.

Jacky: Yeah, um no.

That wasn’t exactly how it went, but you get the gist. I sent her a link with an explanation as to why it’s reaction and not rain. She still doesn’t believe me, but you know, she didn’t believe warthogs existed so whatevz. HAHAHAHAHAHA

Went to Emanon’s Vegas practice and taught a training section? Then hung out for cleaning. LOLOL THEY’RE FUN. Drew in my sketchbook since we needed forty pages filled for tomorrow, I drew twenty awesome pictures within ten minutes. I got excited cause I thought The Office Wedding was today, it’s tomorrow.
